3. What questions were raised because of the 10 hours of experience?
Most of my questions were answered and well explained while doing my service learning, however I have a few.
  • what is the workload for the individual compartments of a fire protection company?
  • what is the most difficult aspect with a new job?
  • what are common issues faced with an installation?

Interpretive

4. What is the most important thing you gained from this experience? why?
The most important thing I gained from my service learning experience in a fire protection company is a combo of two things the knowledge gained from the N.F.P.A. book where I learned a lot of vocabulary. Also the visual run through with my mentor from the sprinkler heads to the water main.

Applied

5. How did what did help you choose a topic? please explain?

At the beginning I wanted to do cycling but I did not like the aspect I had to do, therefore I looked to my family for help and the majority of family own fire protection companies or work for a fire protection company. In the search of why my family was so dedicated to this field discovered I love this field and my interest has only grown more into depth with the service learning I completed.
